In Episode 11 The Frozen Confrontation Nancy and Kael confront the twisted alchemist Garrik Blackthorn in his ice fortress to retrieve a fragment of the Tree of Life Despite the chilling atmosphere and the horrors within their determination drives them forward Blackthorn now a corrupted figure reveals his obsession with power as he refuses to relinquish the fragment which is embedded in his icy form A fierce battle ensues with Nancy using a magic compass to help the fragment resist Blackthorns corruption Ultimately they succeed in freeing the fragment causing Blackthorns fortress to collapse Escaping just in time they secure the fragment and prepare for their next challenge aware of the Blight that now recognizes Nancy Their journey to protect the Tree of Life continues with new dangers ahead
